NEW YORK, NY – Tuesday, September 17-19, 2013 at the Jacob Javitz Center, designer and social entrepreneur Sarah Van Aken will debut the SA VA Spring 2014 Collection | Barnes Nouveau at the nation’s premier fashion market trade show, the Coterie. Established in 2009 the classic-contemporary fashion brand, designed and produced in Philadelphia, is expanding through its wholesale division offering the SA VA brand to a growing network of more than 30 specialty and department store retailers.
SA VA has been sold through a flagship retail store in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia where it has garnered significant regional and national press as well as a growing and loyal client base. In 2012 SA VA launched a wholesale division, selling the brand through select distinguished specialty retailers in the Mid-Atlantic region. The brand has expanded its sales division to 5 representatives in 33 states for the Spring 2014 season. SA VA’s debut at Coterie marks the official coming out of the brand to retailers globally. The event will be a casual gathering where guests will be able to get styled with the hottest Fall 2013 hair, makeup and fashion looks by Beka Rendell, hair stylist Ettore Mastroddi of Richel D’Ambra Salon and distinguished makeup stylists. While shopping and getting their makeup and hair done, guests will have an opportunity to see the SA VA Fall 2013 | Modern Architect Collection, which will be informally modeled, while enjoying cocktails and light fair.
